Love the Bach Partitas. When I was working on classical guitar I’d occasionally read through the Chaconne, but I did learn the Fugue in G(A on guitar). That actually impressed a few girls at college parties, even though I was no expert. I guess they just never heard classical music on a guitar, though I was playing an electric at the time.😂

You make no mention of the fact that guitar sounds one octave lower than written. This can add to confusion when reading standard notation that wasn't specifically written for guitar. Like in the Real Book. How would you most easily approach 8va reading in this kind of scenario?

Great livestream Ben! Is there any specific reason that your axe of choice was ibanez as50 rather than as100, 200 or it’s just a matter of comortability and light weight of as50?

Thanks for this Ben. Great comparison. I think if budget isn’t an issue then am2000h is the way to go, but for half the price it looks like the 153 offers fantastic value for money.

The AM2000 has a phenomenal woody full sound at the neck. The super 58 pup really works there. I wish Ibanez put more powerful pups at the bridge, like their super 70s, it would make the guitar even more versatile. The headstock is a homage to the artist models but how cool this guitar would look with the archtop headstock?

Thank you Ben great vid. Your vids caused me to order the AM153QA. Unfortunately l was contacted by the retailer and told it would be a seven month wait due to supply chain issues. This was a deal breaker for me. The AS113BS WAS available and the store had a great return policy so l jumped in it right away. Same price $1399.00 Cdn same Indonesian factory same treatment. Honestly one of the finest instruments I've played in decades. The build quality is staggeringly good (just don't look inside the pickup cavities. Just don't lol. ) out of the box the only thing l needed to do was lower the action n tune it up. Flawless. Intonation as Flawless as can be expected and zero dead spots or buzzing. Amazing! A viewer mentioned difficulty with the highest frets but for me it is not a problem. You are a great ambassador for one of my favorite brands. One thi g no one mentions is the amazing pleasure from playing it unplugged. Do you ever play sans amp?? Bet the AM2000 sounds amazing. You are a great ambassador for the instrument. Stay awesome dude.

Ddue, as a guitarist I know left hands stretch, but you're doing a right hand stretch there. Also very interesting to see that you nearly walk your fingers into the fretboard, like you pre-stretch and bend them. Technique really differs from player to player.

Great sound. So...with legato Ben, I assume I can try staying within tempo..in other words like 16th, 8th notes.. as far as tempo to the runs. Is that accurate?
